Midwest Investments ("MWI," "we," "us," or "our") operates internal software integrations that connect our own Google Workspace/Gmail accounts (and those of our portfolio companies) to internal business-automation tools we use to manage email, calendar, and file storage across our organization. This Privacy Policy explains how we access, use, and protect data through these integrations.

1. Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to the "MWI Integration" application and any related internal tools that connect to Google APIs on behalf of Midwest Investments and its affiliated companies (including Painter1 of Columbus and Bruck Construction). These integrations are used exclusively by Midwest Investments personnel for internal business operations. This is not a consumer-facing product, and no third-party or public user data is collected.

2. Information We Access

With explicit authorization from the Google account holder (an MWI employee or principal), our internal tools may access: Gmail, to read, organize, label, and send email on behalf of the authorized account for business correspondence and workflow automation. Google Calendar, to view, create, and manage calendar events for scheduling and business coordination. Google Drive, to view, create, and manage files and folders for internal document management.

3. How We Use Information

Data accessed through these integrations is used solely to operate internal business functions of Midwest Investments and its portfolio companies, such as managing correspondence, scheduling, and document storage. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties. We do not use this data for advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Access tokens and associated credentials are stored securely and used only to authenticate to Google APIs on behalf of the authorized account holder. We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect this information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share, transfer, or disclose data obtained through these integrations to any third party, except as required by law.

6. Google API Services User Data Policy

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. (developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy)

7. Revoking Access

Any authorized account holder may revoke this application's access to their Google account at any time via their Google Account security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
